"Shakespeare's Libels" presented by Professor Joseph Mansky, English Department, University of Oklahoma. Libel! Slander! Sedition! What happens when citizens defy the state? This talk examines Shakespearean scenes of libel and the light they shed on 16th-century politics and public speech.
